Although I was raised in a Christian home with my dad who was a Church of God minister, it would not be until 1970, while serving in the Navy, that I would truly give my heart
to God. Since then, I have been very busy working for the Lord. As a pianist, I have played for several other ministries, such as the Willow Oak Church of God, The K-ville Baptist Church, Bartow Christian Assembly,
Bartow FL, Vine Street Church of God, Bartow, FL and West Lakeland Church of
God, Lakeland, FL. I have
played keyboard for such Artists as Common Ground, New Direction, Borned
Again, and The Sonshine Harmony Boys. I have been writing gospel music since 1989.

I'm comptroller and Secretary Treasurer for a large steel company in Lakeland
Florida. , my ministry is in the gospel music field. I am using my talent to get the gospel out in song.
I play a Hammond b3 organ on Wednesday nights at Trinity Life Church of God. I
also play accordion during the services on Sundays. I believe we should use the talents God has given us. The more we use
them the more God will bless us".
I give Thanks to
God, I placed first in the 1999 Songwrite Seminar & songwriting contest at Jacksonville FL with my entry title
"Just After" judged by Dan Atkins of Music City Records. I also placed second in 2000 with my entry title
"He Can Do It Again" judged by Daryl Williams of Daryl Williams Trio, and I placed first in 2001 with my entry title "What's Going To Be Heaven" judged by Mark Bishop of The Bishops. Also Mickey Mixon of Gospelsongwriter.com was
a Judge in all three contest. Thank God for all his blessings.
